MERRILL FUNERAL HOMES ANNOUNCE PLANNED CONSOLIDATION

MERRILL – Waid Funeral and Cremation Service and Taylor-Stine Funeral & Cremation of Merrill have announced their planned consolidation into one united business. Effective January 1, 2025, the new business name will be Taylor-Stine-Waid Funeral and Cremation. There will be no disruption in services during this transition. The two locations will continue to operate separate facilities with the combined staff working across both sites. This will give families the opportunity to choose the funeral home they feel best fits their needs while taking advantage of a shared wealth of expertise and resources.

Anna Winnigham, Funeral Director and Manager at Waid Funeral Home for 12 years, will manage both locations. Winningham expressed the sentiment behind the decision, stating “We are devoted to continue offering the highest level of care and comfort to families. This unity allows us to enhance our services and support during life’s most challenging moments.” Taylor-Stine Funeral Director Leah Reist added, “Being born and raised in Merrill, and dedicating 21 years to funeral service and this community, I understand the importance of commitment. By combining our staff and resources, we are excited to provide even more of a seamless support to our community. “
